Data & Coverage
Which countries does AcquireEU cover?+
AcquireEU monitors 28 European countries: UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Poland, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Malta, and Iceland.
Where does the data come from?+
All data is sourced directly from official government insolvency registries — Companies House (UK), BODACC (France), Insolvenzbekanntmachungen (Germany), BOE (Spain), and 24 other national registries. No third-party data resellers.
How often is data updated?+
All 28 registries are crawled daily at 2am UTC. New filings are typically visible in AcquireEU within 24 hours of being published on the official source. Some registries publish in batches, so timing can vary by country.
How far back does the data go?+
AcquireEU retains 6 months of historical filings. Companies filed more than 6 months ago are automatically removed to keep the database focused on active opportunities.
What insolvency stages are covered?+
AcquireEU normalises all European insolvency designations into 5 standard stages: Administration, Restructuring, Liquidation, Asset Sale, and Receivership. This lets you filter across countries without knowing each country's local terminology.
How accurate is the data?+
Data is pulled directly from government sources with no manual entry, so accuracy reflects the source registries. Practitioner contact details are extracted from the filings themselves.
Features
Can I contact insolvency practitioners directly?+
Yes. Every company detail page shows the practitioner's name, firm, and email where available in the public filing. There's a pre-filled email template so you can reach out in seconds. No broker involved.
What is the Watchlist?+
The Watchlist lets you save companies you're tracking with private notes (up to 2,000 characters per company). You can export your watchlist to CSV at any time.
What does CSV export include?+
CSV exports include: Company name, Country, Region, Sector, Stage, Filed date, Employee range, Revenue range, Case number, Practitioner name, Practitioner firm, Practitioner email, and Source URL.
What is Company Intelligence?+
Company Intelligence (Team plan only) adds deeper company context to a filing, including a plain-English summary, an acquisition-attractiveness score, a short rationale, and key signals to help teams triage faster. It is particularly useful when the underlying filing contains only limited public detail. Results are cached for 30 days and should be treated as supporting context rather than investment advice.
How do daily email alerts work?+
Team plan subscribers can set custom alert filters (by country, stage, and sector). Every morning at 7am UTC, AcquireEU checks for new filings that match your filters and emails you a digest. If no matches, no email.
How does Slack integration work?+
Add your Slack incoming webhook URL in Alert preferences. When daily alerts fire, AcquireEU also posts a summary to your chosen Slack channel — including company name, country, stage, and a direct link.
How do team seats work?+
The Team plan includes 3 total seats (the owner plus 2 invited members). The owner invites colleagues by email. Invited members get full access to all Team plan features.
Can I export data to my CRM?+
Yes. Use the CSV export button on the Browse page (exports current filtered view) or on your Watchlist page (exports saved companies). CSV format imports cleanly into Notion, Salesforce, HubSpot, Airtable, and most CRMs.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Both plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required during the trial. You only pay if you choose to continue after the trial ends.
What happens when my trial ends?+
You'll receive a reminder email 2 days before your trial ends. If you don't add payment details, your access will revert to free (browse access removed). You can upgrade at any time from the pricing page.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel before your trial ends and you won't be charged. Cancel after converting and you'll retain access until the end of the current billing period. Billing is managed through Paddle.
How do I manage my subscription?+
All billing is managed through Paddle. You can update payment details, cancel, or view invoices by accessing your Paddle customer portal. A link is available in your account settings.
Do you offer refunds?+
Please see our refund policy for full details. Generally, we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for the most recent billing period.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?+
Yes. AcquireEU uses Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies, meaning each user can only access their own data. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with secure cookie-based sessions.
Is AcquireEU GDPR compliant?+
AcquireEU stores only the data you provide (email, subscription status, watchlist). All company data is sourced from public government registries. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Who can see my watchlist and notes?+
Only you (and team members you've invited on the Team plan). Watchlist data is protected by row-level security — not even AcquireEU staff can read your notes.

Do you offer custom Enterprise plans?+
